The Ultimate Wearable Technology

I love TED talks, and this video has to be my favorite one.  It’s from the MIT fluid interfaces lab and was presented this year at TED. I’ve watched it several times, and am still amazed at all the applications they’ve ALREADY thought of for this little guy. Who know’s what it will be able to do when its ready for commercial sale.  I’d say its probably ten years away, but that is definitely not as long as I once thought!

I watched this TED talk with beginning ignorance and ultimate enjoyment and fascination. As a 50 year old plus who likes to work with a pc ( all relative definitions based on age) , this invention has to get one excited on just any possibility for real life usage. I have to suspect the comments on $350 cost tag , however, for the markup for intellectual property alone would double the retail price. Nevertheless, how do I get one for $350 ? Rick
