About

Scott Edwards is a graduate of the George Washington University Elliott School Of International Affairs. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs with concentrations in Conflict and Security and International Development Studies. While at school he completed his studies of Chinese (Mandarin) at the third year level. He has additional coursework in many areas including business, international business, branding, marketing, public relations and others.

Over the course of his college career Scott held several internships to supplement his academic curriculum. These include time in the Office of Congressman Christopher Shays (in Washington, DC and Bridgeport, CT), JetBlue Airways (Finance Dept.), RedPeg Marketing, and The White House (Communications). These experiences were invaluable in further developing Scott’s skills as a professional even as an undergraduate student.

Personally, Scott is interested and has experience in many different fields. Since his family got their first computer he has been the family technology expert and technical support. He has helped countless friends and colleagues sort through their technology problems and frequently consults on technology solutions for individuals and small businesses. He is also an active participant in the new internet and is knowledgeable in new media and internet communities.

Scott has been fortunate to travel globally and has lived in London, Singapore, Connecticut, Washington and Shanghai during his life. He approaches everything he does from the context of his global background and international awareness. He has long been particularly interested in China and is current on its business environment, recent economic and government news, as well as the difficulties of entering the Chinese market.

In general Scott is a fast learner who is curious about almost anything. He is obsessed with current events and reads dozens of publications, blogs and other resources to keep informed on the latest trends in business, technology and foreign policy. To contact Scott, see the Contact page.
