The Ultimate Wearable Technology

I love TED talks, and this video has to be my favorite one.  It’s from the MIT fluid interfaces lab and was presented this year at TED. I’ve watched it several times, and am still amazed at all the applications they’ve ALREADY thought of for this little guy. Who know’s what it will be able to do when its ready for commercial sale.  I’d say its probably ten years away, but that is definitely not as long as I once thought!

Obama Speaks in Cairo and On the Web

This is a great little piece of video from the Wall Street Journal chronicaling what went on at the White House website today. While the President was speaking in Cairo, his speech was simulcast on the White House website…pretty sure that’s the first time in history it’s ever been done. It was also translated into many different languages and was accompanies by a video profiling Muslim-Americans working in the Executive branch.  Seems like a great idea and a good way to win some PR, I’d be interested to see the analytics and see if people in the Muslim world are watching!
